“For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.”

he will become impoverished
to occupy (by driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication, to seize, to rob, to inherit; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin

it will clothe them
