“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”
בָּטַח
Trust, lean on, rely. Batach. To lean your full weight on something confident it will hold. Trusting in the LORD means putting your entire weight on Him, not just hoping He helps.
חֲרָדָה

Fear, terror, dread. Charadah. The fear of man is a snare. But whoever trusts in the LORD is safe. Human opinion is a trap. God's approval is freedom.
