“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.”
אֶשֶׁר
Blessed, happy, to be congratulated. Ashrei. The word that opens the entire Psalter. Not just happy in a fleeting sense — this is the deep settled blessedness of the person who walks with God. It is a declaration: this person is truly well off. This is the life God designed you for.
