“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

Mud, clay, mire. Tiyt. He set my feet on solid rock. The contrast between sinking clay and solid rock is the experience of everyone lifted by God.
