“O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.”
עָנִי
Poor, afflicted, humble. Aniy. The Spirit of the LORD is on Me to proclaim good news to the poor. Jesus came for those who know they have nothing without God.
הָלַל
may they praise

To praise, to shine, to boast. Halal. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Exuberant irrepressible praise is the proper response to God.
