Psalms 91:2
King James Version
8 Jun 2026
“I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
מַחֲסֶה
A place you run to when the storm hits. Not built by human hands. The psalmist had seen cities fall, mountains shake, waters roar — and still declared God as refuge. Not because the storm stopped, but because the shelter held.

Trust, lean on, rely. Batach. To lean your full weight on something confident it will hold. Trusting in the LORD means putting your entire weight on Him, not just hoping He helps.
