“The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.”
כְּרוּב
Cherubim. Powerful angelic beings who guard the holiness and presence of God. They guarded Eden after the Fall and their images were placed on the Ark of the Covenant.
