“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;”
ἐκκλησία
Assembly, church, called out ones. Ekklesia. I will build my church. The church is not a building or a programme. It is a people called out by God and gathered around Jesus.

Sword. Rhomphaia. A sword will pierce your own soul too. Simeon said this to Mary. Following God does not protect from pain. It gives meaning and purpose to it.
