Revelation 2:16
King James Version
6 Jun 2026
“Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.”
μετανοέω
Meta — after. Noeo — to think. To think again after. Repentance is not self-punishment. It is a change of mind so complete that your direction changes. You were walking one way. Now you walk another. That is metanoia.

ῥομφαία
Sword. Rhomphaia. A sword will pierce your own soul too. Simeon said this to Mary. Following God does not protect from pain. It gives meaning and purpose to it.
