“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;”

Assembly, church, called out ones. Ekklesia. I will build my church. The church is not a building or a programme. It is a people called out by God and gathered around Jesus.

Key. Kleis. I have the keys of death and Hades. Jesus holds every key. No door He opens can be shut and no door He shuts can be opened. He controls every access.
