Rage, fierce passion, wrath. Thymos. The works of the flesh include outbursts of this kind of hot, breathing anger. Let all bitterness and wrath be put away from you. Put it down.

Sexual immorality, harlotry, idolatry. Porneía. It covers adultery, incest, and unfaithfulness in every form, and Scripture links it directly to idolatry. Flee it.

To give drink, to water, to irrigate. Potizō. Paul planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. Our role is faithful supply, not final outcome. Water what is in front of you.

Nation, people group, Gentile. Ethnos. Go and make disciples of all nations. Every people group on earth is included in God's redemptive plan. None are excluded.
