“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,”

Throne, seat of authority. Thronos. The throne of grace. We can approach it boldly. The throne that could terrify has become a throne of grace through the blood of Jesus.
