“And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.”

Slave, servant, bondservant. Doulos. Paul a servant of Jesus Christ. The highest title Paul claimed was slave of Christ. Belonging completely to Jesus is the greatest freedom.

Great, large, important. Megas. A great door and effectual is opened. God opens great doors. Do not settle for small thinking about a great God. He works on a grand scale.

Throne, seat of authority. Thronos. The throne of grace. We can approach it boldly. The throne that could terrify has become a throne of grace through the blood of Jesus.

To fear, to be afraid, to reverence. Phobeo. Do not fear those who kill the body. Fear God and nothing else needs to be feared. He holds what every other fear threatens.
