“And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;”

Smyrna, city of Asia Minor. Smyrna. One of the seven churches received a letter here, a community commended for enduring poverty and persecution. Faithfulness can thrive in hard places.

To live, to be alive. Zao. I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live. Life in Scripture is always relational. To live is to be connected to the source of life.
