“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. ”
δύναμις
The root of our word dynamite. But dunamis is not explosive destruction — it is the inherent ability to accomplish what needs to be done. Jesus says you will receive this power. Not work for it, earn it or deserve it. Receive it. The Holy Spirit is not a reward. He is a gift.

Glory, honour, splendour. Doxa. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory. Glory is the weight and radiance of God's presence. It transforms everything it touches.
