To hand over, to betray, to deliver up. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. The delivering of Jesus was the saving of the world.

God. Theos. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ultimate reality. The source of all existence. Personal knowable and present.

Passion, lustful craving. Pathos. Paul lists it among the deeds of the earthly nature that must be put to death. Desire unchecked by the Spirit becomes destruction. Put it to death.

And, both, also. Té. A small connector that binds two things into one thought. Even the smallest words in Scripture carry the weight of divine intention. Notice what God joins together.

Female, woman. Thēlys. In Christ there is neither male nor female, for all are one. God's image is reflected in both.

To change, to exchange, to alter. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Transformation begins in the mind.

Natural, instinctive, according to nature. Physikos. What is natural is not always what is righteous. Align instinct with truth.

Use, sexual function. Chrēsis. Paul uses this word to describe the natural and unnatural use of the body in Romans 1. How the body is used reveals what the heart worships.

From, beside, by the side of. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Total dependence on Jesus is not weakness. It is the only path to fruitfulness.
