Romans 10:7
King James Version
10 Jun 2026
“Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)”
Χριστός
The one set apart and equipped for a specific task. Oil was poured on kings, priests and prophets in the Old Testament — the anointing meant: this one is chosen, this one is sent. Jesus stands up in Nazareth and reads Isaiah — and then says: this is Me. I am the one sent.
