“Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.”

Soul, life, inner person. Psuche. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul. The soul is the real you. It outlasts everything the world offers.

Lord, master, owner. Kurios. Jesus is Lord. The foundational confession of Christianity. Lord means owner. To confess Jesus as Lord is to surrender ownership of your life.
