“It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.”

Spiritual, of the Spirit. Pneumatikos. The spiritual blessings Paul speaks of are not earthly upgrades — they are realities that exist in the heavenly realm, given to us in Christ. We are already seated with Him in heavenly places.

Debtor, one who owes. Opheiletes. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. The one most forgiven should be the most forgiving. Forgiveness flows from those who know they have been forgiven.
