“Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.”

Assembly, church, called out ones. Ekklesia. I will build my church. The church is not a building or a programme. It is a people called out by God and gathered around Jesus.

Whole, complete, entire. Holos. Love the Lord your God with all your heart. God does not want a portion of you. He wants all of you. Half-hearted devotion is not devotion.

City, town. Polis. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. The church is meant to be visible. Its light is for the community around it. Hide nothing. Let it shine.

A steward, a manager, an administrator. It is required of stewards that they be found faithful. God does not require success. He requires faithfulness.
