Promise, announcement, declaration. Epaggelia. All the promises of God find their Yes in Christ. Every promise God has made is guaranteed in Jesus. Not one will fail.

Reckon, count, consider. Logizomai. Paul uses this word to describe how God credits righteousness to faith. What you consistently reckon to be true will shape how you live. Reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to God.
