G386
ἀνάστασις
anástasis
G386 · Greek
Ana — up again. Stasis — standing. To stand up again. Jesus does not say He will cause resurrection. He says I am the resurrection. He is not a mechanism through which life returns — He is the source of life itself. Wherever He is, death cannot have the final word.
