Coming, presence, arrival. Parousia. The coming of the Lord. The return of Jesus is not a footnote in Christian hope. It is the anchor of it. He is coming. Be ready.

Working, operation, energy. Energeia. According to the working of His great power. God is not passive. He is actively working in and through every situation for His purposes.

Accuser, adversary, the devil. Satanas. He prowls, accuses, and seeks to destroy. Know your enemy, and know he is already defeated.

All, every, whole, any. Pas. All things work together for good. All authority has been given to Me. All the promises of God are yes in Christ. God thinks in absolutes of blessing.

The root of our word dynamite. But dunamis is not explosive destruction — it is the inherent ability to accomplish what needs to be done. Jesus says you will receive this power. Not work for it, earn it or deserve it. Receive it. The Holy Spirit is not a reward. He is a gift.

Sign, miracle, token, wonder. Semeion. Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Signs point beyond themselves. The miracle is never the main thing. It points to the One who does it.

Wonder, sign, omen. Teras. Wonders and signs accompanied the apostles as confirmation of the gospel's power. God still breaks into the ordinary with the extraordinary. Pay attention.

Falsehood, lie. Pseudos. Satan is the father of lies, and all falsehood traces back to him. Align every word with truth.
