And, both, also. Té. A small connector that binds two things into one thought. Even the smallest words in Scripture carry the weight of divine intention. Notice what God joins together.

City, town. Polis. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. The church is meant to be visible. Its light is for the community around it. Hide nothing. Let it shine.

To make disciples, to teach and train. Matheteuo. Not just converting people but forming them. The Great Commission is not to make converts but to make disciples. People who learn to live the way Jesus lived.

Sufficient, worthy, competent. Hikanos. God made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant. Our adequacy is not self-declared. It is granted.

To return, turn back. Hypostréphō. The disciples returned to Jerusalem with great joy after the ascension. Turning back is not always retreat. Sometimes it is obedience.

A city in Lycaonia, Asia Minor. Lystra. Here Paul was stoned and left for dead, yet rose and continued preaching. No opposition ends what God has commissioned.

City of images, Iconium. Ikonion. Paul and Barnabas preached here boldly, even as opposition gathered against them. Persecution did not end the mission in Iconium, it extended it. Keep going.
