“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:”

Prayer, supplication, a place of prayer. Proseuche. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Prayer is not a last resort. It is the first response of the trusting heart.
