“And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.”

To persuade, to trust, to be confident. Peitho. I am confident that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. God finishes what He starts in those who yield.
