“So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

Evil, wicked, bad. Poneros. Deliver us from the evil one. The evil one has a name but no ultimate power. He operates only within the limits God permits. His defeat is certain.

Spirit, breath, wind. Pneuma. God is Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, God living inside every believer. He leads guides comforts and empowers.
