“And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.”

Jewish, belonging to Judah. Ioudaios. Salvation is from the Jews. God chose a people to bring the Messiah into the world. His choice of Israel was for the benefit of all nations.
