Ephesians 5:30
King James Version
6 Jun 2026
“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”
σάρξ
Flesh, body, human nature. Sarx. The Word became flesh. God took on human nature completely. He knows from the inside what it means to be human. He is not a distant deity.

μέλος
Member, body part. Melos. You are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it. Every member matters. An unused body part atrophies. Use what God gave you.

A bone. Not one of His bones will be broken. The Passover lamb's bones were not broken. Jesus fulfilled this in precise detail. Prophecy is always exact.
