“In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,”
צְבִי
The deer does not philosophise about water. It simply knows it needs it and runs toward it. The psalmist in the middle of exile, surrounded by enemies, uses this image — my whole being runs toward You the way a deer runs to water. Thirst for God is not weakness. It is the most honest thing a soul can do.

I AM. Hayah. The self-existent one. When Moses asked God His name God said I AM THAT I AM. Not I was or I will be but I AM. Always present always existing always enough. Jesus used the same words: before Abraham was I AM.
