Holy, sacred, set apart. Hagios. The Holy Spirit. The Holy One. Holiness is not cold distance from the world. It is burning closeness to God.

Peaceable, peace-loving. The wisdom from above is first peaceable. God's wisdom produces peace not conflict.

First, foremost, chief. Protos. The first shall be last and the last first. God constantly reverses human rankings. What the world considers great God may consider least.

properly, indicative of affirmation or concession (in fact); usually followed by a contrasted clause with G1161 (δέ) (this one, the former, etc.)

To be, to exist. Eimi. When God names himself I AM, he uses this word. Existence itself belongs to him. Ground your identity in the one who simply is.

Thereafter, then, next in sequence. Épeita. Order matters in God's unfolding plan. Trust the sequence He has established.

Gentle, mild, appropriate. Epieikḗs. Paul lists it among the qualifications of an overseer, and commands all believers to let this quality be known to everyone. Gentleness is not weakness. Let it show.

Compliant, easily persuaded. Eupeithēs. The wisdom from above is peaceable and compliant, not rigid or resistant to correction. Remain teachable.

Full, filled, replete. Mestos. James warns of a tongue mestos of deadly poison, full of cursing. What fills a thing reveals what rules it. Guard what you let fill you.

Mercy, compassion, pity. Eleos. His mercy endures forever. Mercy is God withholding what we deserve. It is the companion of grace which gives what we do not deserve.

Fruit, result, outcome. Karpos. I am the vine you are the branches. Apart from Me you can do nothing. Fruit is the evidence of connection. It cannot be manufactured.
