James 4:13
King James Version
11 Jun 2026
“Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:”
κερδαίνω
To gain, to profit, to acquire. Kerdaino. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul. The world offers much and costs everything. Christ costs everything and gives more.
