“Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.”
θησαυρίζω
To treasure up, to store, to accumulate. Thesaurizo. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. Heavenly treasure is imperishable. It is the only investment with an eternal return.

Flesh, body, human nature. Sarx. The Word became flesh. God took on human nature completely. He knows from the inside what it means to be human. He is not a distant deity.
