“Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.”

Wages, reward, pay. Misthos. Behold I am coming quickly and My reward is with Me. Following Jesus comes with a reward. Not payment for works but the gift of His presence forever.

Lord, master, owner. Kurios. Jesus is Lord. The foundational confession of Christianity. Lord means owner. To confess Jesus as Lord is to surrender ownership of your life.

To cry out, to call aloud. Krazo. My God my God why have you forsaken me. The cry of dereliction is the most honest prayer in Scripture. God can handle our rawest moments.

To reap, to harvest. Therizo. Whatever a man sows he will also reap. Sowing and reaping is a universal law. Sow generously toward God and people. The harvest will come.
