Council, tribunal, Sanhedrin. Synedrion. It was before this body that Jesus stood condemned by men while fulfilling the purposes of God. Human courts have limits. The highest judgment belongs to God alone.

To say, to speak with authority. Jesus said and it was so. When Jesus speaks everything listens. His words carry the weight of creation behind them.

Who, which, what. Tis. Scripture asks it constantly: who do you say that I am? The questions of God are not requests for information. They are invitations to search.

Make, do, produce. Poiéō. Faith without works is dead. What you believe will always show itself in what you make and do. Let your actions confirm your confession.

Many, much, great. Polus. Much fruit. Many witnesses. Great grace. God is not stingy. He gives abundantly to those who are connected to the vine.

Sign, miracle, token, wonder. Semeion. Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. Signs point beyond themselves. The miracle is never the main thing. It points to the One who does it.
