“The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.”

Therefore, then, accordingly. Therefore since we have been justified through faith we have peace with God. The therefore of Scripture always builds on something God has already done.

To raise up, to awaken, to arouse. Egeiro. He is not here He has risen. The resurrection is the pivot of history. Everything before it points to it. Everything after flows from it.
