“For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.”

Example, pattern, warning. Hypodeigma. Jesus washed his disciples' feet and called it an example to follow. What you do in front of others is always teaching something.

To give, to grant, to bestow. Didomi. God so loved the world that He gave. Giving is the language of love. The greatest gift is always the giver themselves.

Just as, in the same way, inasmuch as. Kathōs. God loves, forgives, and gives — and calls us to do likewise. How He acts becomes the pattern for how we act. Live up to the standard.

Make, do, produce. Poiéō. Faith without works is dead. What you believe will always show itself in what you make and do. Let your actions confirm your confession.
