“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”

To burn, to set on fire. Kaio. Were not our hearts burning within us? The presence of Jesus ignites the heart. When He opens the Scriptures something catches fire inside.

To gather together, to assemble. Sunago. For where two or three gather in My name there I am. The presence of Jesus is promised to the gathered church. Come together.

Fire. Pur. Our God is a consuming fire. Fire purifies and fire destroys. What is genuine survives the fire. What is counterfeit is consumed by it. Let God refine you.
