Ninevite, inhabitant of Nineveh. Nineuḯtēs. Jesus pointed to the Ninevites as those who repented at Jonah's preaching, holding them up as a rebuke to those who refused to believe. No city is too far gone for repentance.

Son, descendant, one sharing the nature of. Huios. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Sonship through faith is the highest status available to a human being.

Generation, age, people of an era. Geneá. Jesus spoke of a faithless generation and commanded his disciples to shine like lights among a crooked one. You belong to your moment in history. Shine in it.

This, this one, this person. This is My Son whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. The words spoken over Jesus are spoken over you through your union with Him.
