“And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.”
μαστιγόω
To flog, to scourge. Mastigóō. He was scourged before he was crucified, bearing the lash meant for the lawless. The Father also disciplines every son he receives. Do not despise the scourge that forms you.
