“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.”

To return, turn back. Hypostréphō. The disciples returned to Jerusalem with great joy after the ascension. Turning back is not always retreat. Sometimes it is obedience.

Shepherd, pastor. Poimen. The LORD is my shepherd. Jesus is the good shepherd. He knows His sheep by name. He laid down His life for them. He still leads them to green pastures.
