“And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:”
ἐπιθυμία
Desire, craving, longing. Epithumia. Do not fulfil the desires of the flesh. The flesh pulls toward what destroys. The Spirit pulls toward what gives life. Choose which you feed.

Passover, the feast. Pascha. Christ our Passover has been sacrificed. The Passover lamb prefigured Jesus perfectly. He was the lamb that God provided to save His people.

To suffer, to experience. Pascho. He learned obedience through what He suffered. Suffering is not wasted in God's economy. It produces something that ease never can.
