“And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.”
κατοικέω
To dwell, to settle, to inhabit. Katoikeo. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Dwelling is permanent residence not occasional visits. He wants to live in you fully.

Temple, sanctuary, shrine. Naos. Do you not know that you are God's temple? The most significant temple in the New Testament is the human body indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
