“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
παραδίδωμι
To hand over, to betray, to deliver up. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. The delivering of Jesus was the saving of the world.

To hate, to detest, to dislike strongly. Hate what is evil and cling to what is good. Not everything deserves equal treatment. Some things must be rejected.
