To say, to speak with authority. Jesus said and it was so. When Jesus speaks everything listens. His words carry the weight of creation behind them.

To know, to see, to perceive. Paul said I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

If, whether, that. Ei. Scripture's great conditionals hinge on this word, framing promises, warnings, and tests of faith. If you confess, if you believe, if you remain. The ifs of God are invitations, not uncertainties.

To come, to go, to arrive. Erchomai. Come Lord Jesus. The final prayer of Scripture is an invitation. The church lives in expectation of His return.

Elijah, the prophet. Hēlías. He came to turn hearts back to the Father, and another came in his spirit before the Messiah. Recognize the prophets God sends.

To save, to heal, to deliver. Sozo. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Sozo covers salvation healing deliverance and wholeness. Jesus restores everything that was lost.

Receive, take, accept. Lambanō. What God offers must be actively received, not merely acknowledged. Reach out and take hold.

Spear, lance. Lonchē. A soldier pierced Jesus with a spear, and blood and water flowed out. Even in death, he poured himself out.

To pierce, to stab. They will look on the one they have pierced. Every wound of Jesus was a fulfilment. Every wound was a purchase. Every wound was love.

Side, rib. Pleura. A soldier pierced Jesus in the side, and blood and water flowed out. Thomas placed his hand in that same side and believed. The wound that proved his death became the proof of his resurrection.

To go out, come forth, depart. Exerchomai. Jesus regularly withdrew from crowds to pray, and sent his disciples out into the world. Movement is often the shape of obedience. Go when you are sent.

Water, living water. Hýdōr. Jesus offered the woman at the well water that would never leave her thirsty again. Drink deeply.
