“Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”
καθαρίζω
To cleanse, to purify. Katharizo. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. All means all. There is no sin too dark too repeated or too shameful for His blood to cleanse.

Pure, clean, undefiled. Katharos. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Purity of heart is not perfection of behaviour. It is undivided loyalty to God.
