Hinder, prevent, stop. Kōlyō. The disciples tried to kōlyō those bringing children to Jesus, and were rebuked for it. Be slow to block what God may be opening.

One's own, private, personal. Idios. What belongs to you alone, your particular life and calling. Steward it faithfully.

To serve under, to assist. Hypēretéō. Paul declared he had served God's purpose in his own generation. True service is not self-directed. Find whose purpose you are under, and serve it fully.

To come to, to approach, to draw near. Proserchomai. Come to Me all who are weary and burdened. The invitation is always open. Bring what you have and He will give what you need.
