“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”
אֱלֹהִים
God, Elohim. The all-powerful Creator God. Plural of majesty hinting at the Trinity. The plural form with singular verb speaks of the one God who is Father, Son and Spirit.

To seek, to seek early, to dawn. Shachar. O God You are my God. Earnestly I seek You. The root means to seek at dawn. Morning is the right time to seek God.

Thirst, physical desire for water. Tsama. My soul thirsts for You in a dry and weary land. Spiritual thirst is a sign of life. Only God can satisfy it.
