Burden, load, cargo. Phortion. Jesus says his burden is light, and the loads religious leaders heap on others are not his. What you place on people's shoulders reveals your understanding of grace.

Oppressive, hard to bear. Dysbástaktos. Jesus warned against burdens that crush rather than carry people toward God. Do not lay on others what you are unwilling to lift yourself.

To place upon, to lay on, to impose. Epitíthēmi. Hands were laid on the sick and they were healed; hands were laid on the condemned and judgment fell. The same act carries blessing or burden depending on the one who sends it. Consider carefully what you place on others.

Shoulder. Omos. He lays it on His shoulders. The lost sheep does not find its own way home. It is carried. When you are found by God He carries you. You do not walk yourself back.

Finger. Daktylos. The finger of God wrote the law on stone and drove out demons. What God's finger touches, it transforms. Pay attention to where he points.

To will, to wish, to desire. Thelo. I am willing be made clean. Jesus was always willing to heal, forgive and restore. His willingness has not changed.

To move, to stir, to set in motion. In Him we live and move and have our being. Every movement of your life is sustained and directed by God.
